With over two decades on the front lines, Jess Grennan isn’t just a political strategist, she’s a strategic leader with a proven record of turning complex challenges into winning campaigns and lasting change. Renowned for her mastery of statewide ballot measures, Jess brings clarity, strategy, and coalition power to help values-aligned organizations navigate the chaos of modern politics and deliver measurable results that move communities forward.
For the past five years, Jess has fearlessly plunged into the nation’s most politically charged states, including Arizona, where her personal struggle with medical debt ignited a fierce determination to revolutionize the system. That passion fueled her pivotal role in passing Arizona’s Prop 209, a landmark measure protecting residents from predatory debt collection, which stormed to an overwhelming victory with 72% of the vote.
Her track record of results-driven leadership speaks for itself:
As Campaign Manager, Jess orchestrated the resounding success of Colorado’s 2024 abortion measure, securing a decisive 62% of the vote, all while defeating detrimental legislation in Arizona during the same cycle.
A campaign virtuoso, Jess was the driving force behind Colorado’s Proposition 106, commanding an impressive 65% of the vote. Her swift and decisive execution of California’s end-of-life choices legislation, brought to fruition in just 1½ years, expanded essential options for 38 million Californians.
As the visionary founder of Simple Majority, Jess channels her deep experience and innovative strategy into helping organizations clarify objectives, build winning coalitions, and achieve the impossible. She partners with clients to not just win campaigns but to shape durable political infrastructure that drives long-term impact.
When she’s not orchestrating political victories, Jess savors life in Missoula, Montana, immersing herself in art, culinary delights, fine wine, rivers, and, of course, challenging injustices in the American health care system.
